Alerts to poi/via points

After reading the topic above, i’ve 2 questions.
When I export my poi’s ,from a list made in MRA, into the xt2, do I get also alerts without following a route?
For example a list of ice-cream shop's that i’ve got from the Internet and what to have them on the xt2 as way points/poi’s and have proximity alert when in the neighbourhood of one of them.Can you also set a speed alert like with PoiLoader?
