Ardenne and Eifel twisty roads
-
I am doing a trip to the Ardenne region in June, and really looking forward to the twisties.
To keep one of my fellow riders happy I want to go along a road that is not only twisty but has a high precipitous view. I know more a thing for the Alps.
Can anyone recomend a good road that really gets the vertigo kicking in? -
@Tony-13 I have some fine routes for Luxembourg and the Eifel in my account. Just look into it. If you have any questions, please ask

thanks for the help, that little road above Fuchshofen, looks great. Google Street view managed to capture a bike doing one of the hair pins

@Tony-13
I've been in the Ardennes last year. I stayed in a little town called Marche-en-Famenne. I made 3 daytrips.
Not really twistys but beautiful trips through the Ardennes.
From the "Waterfalls of Coo" in the North. And close to the French border in the South.
The Ardennes are beautiful. Descent roads. Some small part are really bad but overall pretty descent. Quiet and beautiful scenery.
I visited the town of Durbuy and La Roche and came across a German King Tiger in La Gleize.If you want i can share the routes i created

@Tony-13 you have to look me up in the MyRouteApp, not my forum account, or my website: https://routes.lexwill.cyou/mijn-mra-routes/

For some real vertigo-inducing views in the Ardennes, check out the N92 near Dinant for twisty bits and stunning valley views. Also, the road from La Roche-en-Ardenne to Houffalize has great twists and drop-offs to get the heart racing. Enjoy the ride!
