Auf der Straße ist das Ziel erreicht, ich fahre auf den Parkplatz und es beginnt eine Neuberechnung zum Ziel mit Anweisungen.
Brauche ich aber nur bei Waypoints, Zwischenziel wie Rasthof, Kaffepause auf der Strecke zum Endziel. Besser sofort eine Einblendung (auch auf CarPlay) Routenführung beenden? Ja/Nein und ich entscheide, ob ich nochmals geführt werden will. Stattdessen muss ich das Beenden auslösen im Menü, was über CarPlay nicht zur Verfügung steht.
Weiterhin am Abend iPhone zuhause in der Wohnung aktiviert und es kommt, wie schon öfters, die Meldung MRA ist abgestürzt.
So was habe ich weder in TT noch in Sygic, wobei nutze ich selten, noch in G-Maps oder Apple Maps.
Also, es gibt doch noch einiges zu tun….Hallo Peter, das „Weiterrouten“ ist so gewollt. Das Thema ist schon ausführlich besprochen und ein manuelles Beenden ist nötig und auch in CarPlay möglich.
Das spätere Abstürzen habe ich auch manchmal, nach Benutzung von CP.
Ich denke, diese Dinge sind bekannt und in Arbeit.

@Corjan-Meijerink, I think it is fair for me to say that, under normal circumstances, the start of a route almost always leads to the blank screen experience followed by the impossibility of restarting the app. Only when I go into the Android System - App settings and perform a force close there, I am able to restart. Then sometimes in a row this repeats a few times, but mostly after this force-close the app functions as intended. It looks like some background process does not close, and the problem occurs more after having the app open unused for some time.
@Con-Hennekens are you speaking of Android or iOS? I have never had a white screen on iOS, so the generallity of your statement makes no sense. Now, the 'Crash' notification, that is an entirely different story - get anywhere close to a vehicle that has CarPlay, the app crashes, whether actually used or not. Sounds like MRA is very aware of this, so hopefully v285 fixes this annoying issue.

Final steps of the big 4.1.0 update.
We appreciate all your feedback!Unfortunately quite some iOS users still experience random crashes. In the new 285 version I've made some further improvements to prevent the crashes from happening. Could you specifically let me know how this aspect has improved / deteriorated?
Then regarding both iOS & Android.
Irrelevant of the version you are using, could you let us know how often you experience a white screen when starting navigation. This means that you do not see a road map at all.
Usually the app will then crash when you exit navigation. We are trying to determine how rare this case is.As they always say: the last stretch is the most difficult

I am speaking of Android, but it happens for a lot of people on iOS too. I wold not be surprised if it is linked. If it made no sense Corjan would not have written this:

Vandaag voor de eerste maal dit jaar MRA gebruikt. Omdat ik zag dat er een nieuwe versie was, was ik dus vol goede hoop. Maar het is een teleurstellende rit geworden. Werk dus met een Android telefoon. Een simpele, korte rondrit gekozen. Het opstarten bij het vertrek ging al zeer langzaam. Wegaanduiding ging nog, maar ging spraakaanwijzingen. Even gestopt, even later kwam de spraak terug. Maar niet voor lang. Was precies alsof app maar half werkte en de wegaanduiding, de pijl op de weg, dat ging nog, maar de aankomende aanduidingen bleven steken. Regelmatig was wel de pijl te zien maar geen straten meer. Enfin, rondrit gestopt en maar gewoon de weg naar huis ingegeven. Maar het werkte altijd maar heel even na vertrek en na een poosje viel spraak en aanduidingen weer weg. Nu ben ik geen expert, maar de app heeft mij toch al enkele keren perfect naar Italië en terug gebracht, dus de basis ken ik. Maar vandaag werkte het voor geen meter. Ben nu de off-line kaarten aan het updaten, weet niet of dat er iets mee te maken heeft?

@Corjan-Meijerink Android apparently takes it time always, none of the upgrades is available yet. Too bad, as I am planning to ride this afternoon

Het lijkt nogal een probleem te zijn ik hoop dat jullie er spoedig achterkomen wat de oorzaak is, voor de laatste AA update werkte de kaarten namelijk prima. Veel succes.

This means that you do not see a road map at all.@Corjan-Meijerink Ik zie nu dat ik nog een oude versie (276) had. Heb nu een update gedaan naar versie 284. Ik dacht dat dit automatisch ging. Hopelijk gaat het nu beter.
