Stop navigation changing route

Mostly once I have set up a route I want to follow that route exactly, I don’t want the navigation app redirecting me, so could there be a route setting that stopped the navigation app from changing the planned route?

The obvious answer is to add more waypoints to your route.

@Lynchy67 Hi thanks for the advice but problem is no matter how many waypoints you add sometimes the navigation still does strange little local detours.

What about skipping Waypoint, or stop navigation, or start new from a different WP.
