Compass actions during the navigation

    I have been playing lately with a compass actions during the navigation (and a little "re-center on the screen" arrow during recording a trip.)
    First, I start the navigation on the route in the 2-D view. If I move the map and then press the arrow (compass) to re-center, all works fine and I come back to the 2-D view and keep going.
    Second, I press the arrow (compass) to change to the 3-D view. All is fine, I keep riding. When I move the map, and click the arrow (compass) to re-center, the view returns to the 2-D view?!
    Why is this happening? I would expect to re-center in the same type of view (2-D to 2-D, 3-D to 3-D.) If I wanted to come back to the 2-D view, I would have done that when riding viewing the route in a 3-D view.

      @UltraStar I understand what you are saying! This was however the expected behaviour when the app was released. If more people want to see it changed, I’m happy to consider it. The reason it works like this is that after dragging the map, the camera resets and the ‘click cycle’ starts over again 🙂

        @Corjan-Meijerink Thanks for the explanation Corjan. Still, the phone is a very small device, eyes are not as good as they were before, Sun is relentless, and pressing that little icon is a major pain on the tush anyway while riding. It might not seem like a big deal but that additional press to return to your favorite (or previous 3-D) view will require one more click.
        Maybe in future release...

          @UltraStar Maybe hahaha

          Anyway, to keep it related to the beta. Within the Navigation part: you only have top down not following or immersive (3D) experience. So that’s a maximum of one click always 😉 We are also adding a feature to the beta soon that the camera can automatically refocus once movement is detected, preventing any clicks 🎉
