I don't know what android or ios allows in this respect but lookign at some posts here in the forum, it may be useful to include a diagnosis tool that can tell then user that e.g. NEXT cannot access the MRA server because...

Is it Next or MRA Mobile that connects to the server?
I think that you select the route to navigate in the MRA Mobile app. -

Do you know whether we would continue to have MRA Mobile and NEXT side by side, or whether this would become one single application?
And if two seperate app remain: why would this be necessary?

maybe you mist this video:
Tweede test Beta MRA Navigation Next! -
The app automatically reports any unexpected exceptions or crashes to us. We are currently also working on a feature to share more detailed logs upon request

Fantastic, less apps on my phone.
as long as there is only one app, it indeed makes no difference for the user which part does what

I am not sufficiently familiar with the architecture and separation of the apps in the new situation.
But MRA Mobile app can be used without Next. I'm actually not sure if Next can be used without the MRA Mobile App. -

Specifically, MRA Navigation Next will be added as part of the current MRA Mobile app (whether or not the combined app will be renamed, I don't know).
If you don't have a subscription to MRA Navigation (Next), that part of the app will just not do anything, be disabled, inactive, invisible or whatever way they choose to prevent the user from using it without the required subscription.
The current functionality of MRA Mobile will remain available for free, though.

@Herko-ter-Horst Can't add anything to that

There is something more to my comment above than explained by a flat reference to announced
But let's stick with TS's question already answered by @Corjan-Meijerink -

wrote on 28 Nov 2022, 18:43 last edited by@Corjan-Meijerink Great improvement regarding debugging the app! Not only during the development but also for the future updates.
Many of the issues previously reported on current MRA nav, were only reported through manually typing a ticket. A built-in log that provides you as a developer with all the "parameters of interest" is a great way to go!
