@GT-JWR thanks for the idea! We might add the ability to change the avoid options on the fly but changing curviness won’t be possible due to technical limitations.

@Jörgen there are three:

no focus (triggered when you swipe over the map, long press compass to show entire route or any other action that animates the camera) north up direction up (default)

I am not sure if I agree with this completely. Viapoints, and also shapingpoints can be colored (which has a meaning) and notes (that usually have a purpose). Showing those on a track may have no value for calculations, but certainly for informations.

3 dagen app gebruikt en dan denk je waarom elke keer herberekenen als punt niet geheel correct staat of je gewoon niet verder kan door werkzaamheden. ik volg discussie dat als route punten overslaan mogelijk is dat herberekenen aan kan staan maar ik denk geef gebruiker optie zoals in mijn zumo's. ik vind vaak wel weg terug naar route en in afgelopen 3 dagen was herberekenen van app meestal ja maar dat wil ik niet.

@Kudee the one we have is very outdated 🙂 We aim to create a new one around summer.

I fully agree that the information for the next waypoint is unnecessary and disturbing. I have disabled it on the screen layout, but it still shows up by the instructions.

Thanks for your reply, I didn't realise there was a cost involved.
I had noticed that from what3words i can hit "Navigate" and it gives me the option to use "Google Maps", "OsmAnd" and "Garmin Drive" but not "MRA".

We zullen naar het probleem van de nummering kijken. We werken momenteel aan een functie om gemakkelijk de navigatie te hervatten, dat zou dat probleem moeten oplossen Offline navigatie is zeker aan te raden als er een slechte internet verbinding is, de kaarten van de regio waar je rijdt moeten dan echter wel zijn gedownload

@Corjan-Meijerink Yes I agree, also the font (distance to next waypoint) on the next waypoint icon in the top right corner is hard to see at a glance, if the front size could be just a little larger it would make all the difference.

@Corjan-Meijerink I also saw that the higher screen sensitivity was disabled for some reason. Maybe with the latest update as I normally had it set to on. 🤔. This could explain some issues I had today.

So I've done the permanent install. Wired the power supply into the bikes switched accessories power via this kit...

As mentioned before... The Chargie manages battery charging and temperature. AFAIK there are generally two ways to get this kind of control... Software which requires rooting the phone and this hardware approach. The Chargie works pretty well for this task.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with this setup. The phone (battery/heat/cold/elements) won't get stressed and the CP/AA display works great. I've tried an intercom system with it. Everything pairs and works as expected. As discussed before.. Some had mentioned that they don't like that the display unit doesn't have an internal battery to prevent power cycles/reboots when you start the bike etc. This has absolutely not been a problem. The display unit powers up and reconnects to everything within 30 seconds. If you had a Nav session going before shutdown (say stopping for gas), the route/navigation session is still there when the system reboots and reconnects.

The only nit that I've found so far is that the BINIZE unit's firmware version doesn't yet have the Android Auto volume controls. Other "brands" have already provided the firmware update for that. Right now I'm using my iPhone, so it's not a problem. But sooner or later, I'll want to update the firmware.
