@Fred-Widemann said in Streetview in Duitsland: Recently there are also street views of many German roads, not all of them yet, but getting there. That is indeed a welcome addition when planning routes.

@Jörgen I absolute used something like that. But my basis of navigation is with a map and compass Learned in the Air Force (ground forces) in the late 1970s. [image: 1689764055927-zutphen-sheet-3803-1944.jpg]

@Ronald-van-de-Vondervoort Google is your friend. In het zoekscherm "stella ronda motor" intypen en je krijgt voldoende suggesties om te vinden dat die afgesloten is. Deze bijv https://www.moppedhotel.de/sperrungen-paesse-2023/

@Guzzist Hello Ranier, Blogs and travelogues are indeed always public when you publish them. It is also true that you can only find the blogs or travelogues if you have the url or if you look at someone's profile page and then click on "Blogs". The reader will indeed have to regularly check whether there is an update. I always make the travel story afterwards and then share the url on my website : https://www.mrmra.com/blogs.phtml The website will be tackled this year, as soon as the new app is in production. In any case, I will take it with me when the website is tackled.

@dannygroeneveld I don't use most of the items on the homepage, except "Routes" and occasionaly "Tracklogs". As there is not really anything you can "do" on the homepage itself anyway (you need to press one of the buttons or use the "Create scenic roundtours" dialog), I don't mind what is on that page as I'm never on that page for more than a few seconds.

Das TomTom Rider macht keinen Unterschied zwischen Via oder Shaping Punkten. Die sind für ein Rider immer gleich.

@dannygroeneveld said in Plan and navigate using OpenCycleMap (as is done by Komoot): @Nick-Carthew thank you for your explanation. I will give it a try...... I tried your suggestion and it does works. Nevertheless, the Komoot app has a number of additional features for bikers (like voice navigation, on screen info on distance to next point, speed info, real time altitude info, important: info on all road types in the route and much more. Also it is a social network, and users can easely share routes, share highlights on the road, etc. I think I will keep both apps (MRA for car and Komoor for walking and cycling).

@Jeroen-Susijn To respond properly to your question, it might be good to tell which MRA apps you have used. MRA Route Planner MRA Navigation app Please clarify your question as I'm not quite sure what you're asking. (maybe best in Dutch)

@Nick-Holland You are absolutely right to highlight your experience with routes from the MyRoute app RouteXperts Library with a compliment to the maker. I also use that library regularly. The routes are very well made and there is always a lot of info included. Recently I toured around Normandie for two days. The routes were made by Catherine De Groote. And quite rightly rated with five stars. Thanks @Catherine-De-Groote-RouteXpert Roundtrip from Caen through Norman Switzerland Roundtrip from Pont l Eveque through the Pays d Auge

@Wil-van-Hulst Klopt, streetview is in Duitsland niet toegestaan (privacy). Wat je wel kunt doen is: via de toolkit foto's in de buurt aanzetten en indien er een foto gemaakt is met de mobile-app of Navigation zal de foto getoond worden [image: 1683120640649-52484987-1e78-4dab-ad93-028632f5f6c6-image.png] [image: 1683120745134-ec46e95a-d09f-4ade-8a13-174717001587-image.png]
