Some routing/display issues
-
Morning,
yesterday was a little frustrating.
I may be one of the rare people using an Android tablet, that worked the last weekend very well without any issues.
But yesterday I had some. At first, I could not start routing, nothing happened.
After complete new start, the App and the route started, but the screen did not moved, so the position arrow was out of the display.
Then a new start and jump into later waypiont.
Then the route was gone, the arrow did not move.
But voice announcement and speed display was working. See pictures with different speed and street names. After another restart. The arrow was only seen half on the bottom left.
Pushing the compass did not change this. I was not able to watch the complete route (by holding the compass button)
Only by opening the menu, I could get the arrow back into position.
At the last part of this route, I stopped it and did an A to B route to get home.

@Jörgen I’m sorry for the experience. It’s however quite hard to identify the issues with this.
Feel free to share the logs using the previously described steps when this happens.

@Jörgen Hi Jorgen, apologies for jumping on this thread, but can I ask how you find the Oukitel RT3 tablet? I'm thinking of buying one to use as a ruggedised tablet screen for MRA / Google maps etc on the motorcycle. Just looking for your opinion on real world usability etc? Thanks

Hi, the more I use it, the more I am happy with it.
Ok, the display is maybe a bit too big, but it is nice in that format.
But there is good reason for me, I sometimes need a second App running and with the RT3 I can go into split screen and use one part for MRA and one for BT-Talk. For me perfect.
It is connected as 2. phone to my Sena headset and everything works fine.
If I get a kind of joystick to control the Apps, that would be a pleasant addition.
What I need to improve is the usage with gloves, the need to be touch screen suitable.
Any more questions?
