Feature Request: Sync with Garmin Explore
-
As per the title really, could you guys consider implementing a way to sync the MRA route collection with a user's Garmin Explore account?
This would mean that routes created in MRA would automatically sync to the new Garmin XT2 device if it is set up to sync with Explore.
I think that's a pretty powerful feature for Garmin XT2 users, and although the device is fairly new right now, there will be more users every day.

@Alasdair-Denton-Miller that would be a great feature. I suppose an intermediate option would be a new GPX file that works in a similar way to GPX1.2 so that at least Garmin Explore would accept them via Tread (Bluetooth/WiFi). The XT2 accepts them via USB so maybe just a tweak?

My XT2 is synced with Garmin Express.
I have been using it for years.
Never any problems with routes.
Not a fan of the Tread App! -
Well, mine is also synched with Explore and it works well. Any route in Explore is auto synched to the XT2.
What I am saying is that if my MRA route library was able to connect to Garmin Explore, then any and all of my routes would automatically be synched to the XT2.
It's a bit of a first world problem to be honest. I can of course export my MRA routes to Tread and then they end up synched to the XT2. But it would be super nice to just be able to plan a route on MRA and have it just automagically appear on the XT2
