Alerts for ViaPoints
-
I've seen a few threads on this, but they are slightly to severely old.
Is there a way to set the alert distance for ViaPoints?
For example, I want to be alerted when I am .5km from my selected POI.Also, while I have not yet exported a route to a Zumo XT2 (waiting for it to arrive), will the ViaPoints export as POI on the Zumo or will they just be shaping points?
Trying to anticipate possible needs.I would like to be able to have the route and POIs I have selected on my Zumo with alerts as I arrive at each one. Is this possible?
First time poster. Thanks for the help in advance.

Welcome @Mark-Williamson Yes the viapoints and POI's that are in your route will be exported to your XT2.
You will get an alert around 2 Km and 600 m before the viapoint/ POIgpx 1.2
gpx 1.1
POI's, you can change the flaf into another icon on the XT2

Thank you for the reply. Your response is great news. I am looking forward to testing it on the Zumo XT2 when I get it this week. I'll put my results here.Again, thank you for the response.

Re: Alerts for ViaPointsAfter reading the topic above, i’ve 2 questions.
When I export my poi’s ,from a list made in MRA, into the xt2, do I get also alerts without following a route?
For example a list of ice-cream shop's that i’ve got from the Internet and whant to have them on the xt2 as poi’s and have proximity alert when in the neighbourhood of one of them.
I've also tried to export/send a POIlist to the gps ( Zumo XT2) but you can only do this as .csv or .ov2
and in the connector you can't select POI export.
The tread app won't accept it.
How can i do this anyway?
Can you also set a speed alert like with PoiLoader? -
No, you get the alerts from the via points

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MR-MRA OK thanks bedankt for the answer.
How can i export my custom POI's from one route to another?
For example, in route X i've made 4 custom POI's via the option "toevoegen", now i want them to use in route Y.
But this seems to be a problem, export as .csv and than importing in route Y via the import function in POI, you got the error message, to much points or corrupt file. -
You have to add them manualy in each route

Maybe something to implement in the future.
