Yesterday, July 26, I took two photos while recording a track using the navigation app on my phone. I held the phone horizontally, which caused some issues: the image kept rotating—switching between vertical and horizontal orientations. Although I could confirm and save the shot, it seems the app on my iPhone XR prefers taking photos vertically; horizontal positioning appears to confuse it, causing the photo or the view to rotate. After I confirm the save, it snaps back to normal, and everything seems fine. If I move the phone slightly, the view returns to horizontal.
